Moonstone Holistic Counseling, PLLC is proud to provide HIPAA compliant therapy sessions for clients across the state of Texas.
Both Lea & Micaela use ALMA to submit insurance claims electronically. We are both in-network with Aetna, Cigna, OPTUM, and United.

Moonstone Holistic Counseling Offers
In-Network & Private Pay Options:
Initial Intake Appointment (60 minutes) – $180
Individual Session ( ~50-55 Minutes) – $160
Sliding scale slots are available if financial hardships impact your ability to foster your therapeutic journey.
Rates and availability differ by therapist. Please email your chosen therapist for more information.
We do supply Superbills for out-of-network reimbursement should you prefer to submit for reimbursement on your own.

to help clients use their out-of-network benefits for potential reimbursement on therapy!
**What are out-of-network benefits?** Here's a breakdown:
✨ If your insurance plan offers out-of-network benefits, it means they will cover a portion of the cost when you see a therapist who doesn't have a direct contract with your insurance company.
✨ Unlike in-network providers, who bill your insurance company directly, with out-of-network therapists, you typically pay for the session upfront and then submit a claim to your insurance for reimbursement.
✨ Insurance companies often reimburse a percentage of the therapist's fee, usually after you meet an out-of-network deductible. For example, after you meet a $1,000 deductible, your insurance may reimburse 50-80% of the session cost.
✨ Out-of-network benefits give you the flexibility to choose a therapist based on your needs and preferences, not just those in-network.
**Please note, there is a 5% fee due for each insurance claim submitted that is your responsibility.**
Cancellation Policy
We have a 24 hour no show or late cancel policy, which means we require a minimum of 24 hours notice if you would like to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Any appointments not cancelled/rescheduled within 24 hours of the appointment or that are not attended will be charged full session fee, $160.
